Coming from a traditionally structured law firm that functioned in small to medium sized teams, Mr. Ai, Mr. Zhu, and Mr. Zhang recognized a significant problem posed by this structure—a lack of capacity.
Managing projects as a traditional law firm, Mr. Ai, Mr. Zhu, and Mr. Zhang routinely cooperated and communicated with lawyers all over China and handled large amounts of paperwork. Despite these time intensive efforts, they were only able to strike infringements in a few of China’s provinces.
Recognizing an opportunity to connect the IP protection industry with Internet Technology, the founding team created the innovative platform that is AndunIP. Gathering a team of top professional lawyers, investigators, and IT specialists, AndunIP established itself as a holistic and functional platform for intellectual property protection. The difference in capacity was obvious with the volume of cases increasing from 500 cases per year to now approximately 1500 cases per month.
